Our chosen charity
PWF supports the Afghan Connection, a British-based charity which raises money to build and equip schools and medical facilities in Afghanistan.
We became involved with the Afghan Connection in 2006 following an evening with award-winning foreign affairs correspondent and author Christina Lamb who is one of the charity’s patrons.
Members and guests can contribute regularly at PWF events by feeding their small change to “Miss Piggy”. In addition, we aim to have at least one fund-raising events each year.
