What we want
- We want to promote networking between professional women.
- We know that personal contacts can create professional opportunities and help open doors. Ever heard of the “old boys’ network”?
- We know that this is doubly important for non-German women who want to make their way in business here.
- We want to create an informal and communicative atmosphere for exchanging ideas - to have fun!
- We want to learn - and keep on learning.

Who we are
We are an international network of professional women who meet regularly to learn from and support each other in a relaxed atmosphere, in both English and German.
Set up in 1994 by Pat Pledger (photo), a British businesswoman, PWF brings together career-minded women in Hamburg, providing a forum for contact-building and exchanging ideas. Our members represent a wide range of occupations and nationalities.
Monthly meetings offer presentations on personal/career development or business topics, company visits or simply networking in an informal atmosphere. The forum also provides a platform for members to present their company or services. more
